Considering that they both describe how wonderful they think Beth is in such elaborate ways, I would have imagined Jam and Mark would get along. Or at least have friendly compliment duels. “Veritable vixen!” – “Shining seductress!” – “The picture of perfection!” – “Bodacious beauty!”
I imagine it could get pretty tense once they run out of alliteration.
They could get into rhyming slang and start calling her nonsense words based on those words sounding like other words.
